sex and zen

Avatar has managed to create records of sorts in Hong Kong. Movie goers in this part of the world have managed to see the revolution in the world of cinema. One of the latest films, Avatar, has been declared a super-hit as it managed to break all box-office records previously held in Hong Kong. The single day record created by this film has increased the expectation of people who constantly flock to theatres to watch movies of this type.

It is not hard to find people having different fantasies. And one such fantasy is watching porn movies of all types. Avatar belongs to this category. It is a movie with difference. At least, this is the way how it has been received here in Hong Kong.

People love seeing blue-cat people of giant size. But this liking is surely way less than the liking that people have for nude pictures and especially those that are full frontal in nature. After having grossed $340,000 within a single week, the 3D porn movie has indeed able to take the crown of being the sole film to have achieved so much in such a short span of time. The film, in fact, ran across 73 screens during this whole while. The 3D film that we are talking about is 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy. Never before has any film garnered such positive reviews in such a short time. Indeed, this film has come a long way to achieve an iconic status.

The film, 3D Sex and Zen has been adapted from ‘The Carnal Prayer Mat’, a classical novel that depicts sexual exploits of a young scholar from the Ming Dynasty. Stephen Shiu is the producer of the film while the cast included AV idols from Japan. As per the Hong Kong rating system, the film has been placed in category III. For some reasons, the screening of the film in Mainland China was blocked. However, the producers of the films made it clear that different versions of the film would be created to enable it to pass censorship in most areas and make it available for larger distribution network. IMAX and Hoyts have taken up the responsibility of screening the film in Australia.

As a marketing strategy, 3-D mouse pads, T-shirts that had the pictures of casts were sold during the Chinese New Year, 2011.

In spite of having toppled Avatar to the crown of highest grossing film in Hong Kong market, 3D Sex and Zen and Avatar have similarities that cannot be ignored. Interestingly, both these films have been adapted from different sources. While the porno film was adapted from a famous novel, Avatar got inspired from ‘Fern Gully’.

This soft porn film comes as a big relief to an industry that has been hit hard by internet porn in the most recent years. The ‘wow factor!” that was missing all this while has been restored, thanks to the 3D porno. The leading cast of the porn film include Hayama Go, Saori Hara, Lan Yan, and Vonnie Lui.

10 Best 3D Phones

3D, The Third Dimension – NeoVaporware Phones

At the last Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2011) 4G cellular phones were flanked on either side by 3D offering for television and handheld eTablet formats of personal computers. Down the aisle, there were expositions of 3DTV channel startups backed by extremely well known brand name electronics manufacturers and entertainment production corporations. Just about the time Apple was shipping Christmas cheer to millions of iPhone converts; the Android versus Windows Phone debate was buzzing all over a wintery Las Vegas. Perhaps this is why the discussion of 3D Phones got restarted and has continued to gain momentum.

When it comes to sorting fluff from facts, hindsight is a good skill to groom. A lot of the blame for raised 3D phone expectations can be placed on two important factors. The first is health related and the latter is marketing economics 101.

Let’s just say that varying reports about the benefits of passive versus active 3D have warned that active-shutter technology can cause nausea and discomfort to the viewers’ eyes. Meanwhile the pioneering developers of glasses-free 3D portable video game systems have officially stated the technology is not meant for children under age six due to eye-development concerns.

Economically speaking, the premature announcements by some cellular phone manufactures and cellular service providers can be summed up as so much probing and searching for tangible feedback. Fumio Otsubo, president of Panasonic said, “3D is something that just came out, whether it’s going to be active or a different type, there are various aspects to it… There has never been (a time) in the history of (the audio/visual industry) that two or three methods coexisted. At some point a standard will emerge.” Translation; the public will decided what works for them and the industry will service their preferences. Well… lets get busy.

So, the best 3D Phones are yet to come and the offering on the market today are at best, NeoVaporware. That’s a term we stole from the 1980’s white box DIY days. NeoVaporware is tangible, in that you can get your hands on an unlocked handset; but what it really means is that not one of the available models is ready for primetime consumer duty.

iphone V Android 3D phones

In our opinion the availability relevance concept leads the cellular phone selection decision. There are no matters of first choice based on the three competing formats; iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone7. For 3D, availability is King.

• Apple offers its iPhone in most markets through AT&T and Verizon, The venerable iPhone 4 has 3D-like features. It plays 3D third party applications like games and renders 3D Global Positioning Satellite maps.

• Android, or ‘Droid’ as those opensource aficionados are prone to monikering, is offer by nearly all of the rest of the global cellular phone manufacturers but the 3D feature is currently only available on about five models that the public may purchase.

Two are from Sharp who offers the Galapagos 003SH and 005SH 3D phones which were released to the Japanese market in early Q1/2011. The highly respected Japanese telecom outfit, NTT DOCOMO announced the release of the LYNX 3D SH-03C to Japan in 12/2010. Lynx is a modified Galapagos offering.

  • Over in South Korea, Samsung released their AMOLED 3D through local vendors Q1/2011, but the Amoled 3D will be limited to Korean distribution only.
  • Kyocera offers a very inexpensive 3D cellular phone with image viewing, web surfing and 3D game rendering capacities; branded the Slider Remix KX5; it is available online, unlocked.

o Rounding out the available or nearly available handset choices announced at CES, LG tenders the Optimus 3D to be available Q2/2011. This handset can be acquired unlocked in via United Kingdom and North American sources who are taking orders for future delivery this quarter. Optimus 3D is also a Droid implementation that addresses 3D from the perspective of engineering a screen that works with Android aware graphics programming.

LG 3D

• Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 is also known as WP7. The primary manufacturers lined up behind Redmond’s new communication tool offering are HTC, Dell, Samsung and LG. Note the fact; these guys do Android and WP7, its relevant to your decision making process.

Leading manufactures have focused on enabling screen technology to render a true 3D experience. They will need help from the major game programmers and the online media delivery services such as Netflix to make their handsets viable and desirable. These efforts will eventually safely eliminate the need for the viewer to wear enabling glasses to see a 3D effect.
